Originally taking the CSBM course to be well informed on NZ business law, I quickly discovered there was so much more to learn than I had originally anticipated, even after having been in business for 10 years! Aspects of Human Resources, Accounting and Financial Forecasting, to name but a few. Jeanette is a most inspiring teacher, offering up many tasty morsels of sound advice, extra information and useful links, next to the already abundant course material. Her brilliant sense of humour quickly dispelled any learning anxieties and she made the whole adventure a fun filled process for us all. This unique opportunity to learn so much and be supported by a class full of like minded and equally enthused peers, in a relatively short time, has been life changing. Not only do I feel far more knowledgeably empowered to make a better success of my current business, I also feel confident that this course has provided me with enough insights to start a new business, should I choose to do so in future.

Incidents and accidents look fairly stable and I have no doubt the training has provided us with skills required to lower the HS risk off road.

Attending the CSBM course has been hugely beneficial to my business.  It’s not just about classroom learning, it’s a practical course that’s focussed on doing.  You graduate with practised skills and relevant insight that can be applied directly to your own business.  As well as being a lot of fun, you meet and take the journey with like-minded people, giving you a lasting network of friends, businesses, ideas and opportunities.

This course has given me a way to take back control of my money and understand how to prepare for the future that I want to live. I know more about my Kiwisaver and have gained a greater understanding of investment opportunities.

Through completing the CMM course my reality has changed to one in which I can be financially free. I have learned so many tools and ways in which I can use my hard earned money to my best advantage. Who would have thought finance could be this much fun.

I thought the training provided was a fantastic opportunity to upskill. Steve is a very good instructor – professional, knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and several times went beyond the call of duty to make sure the classes’ needs were considered. He did a fantastic job with teaching the classes as a whole, while ensuring adequate one-on-one time with each of us.

I was very impressed with the training Steve offered and have been recommending him to others. There’s a good chance we’ll be wishing to do more staff for LUV and a few others for 4WD course in near future.

I joined the CSBM this year to further develop my business. I have run a practice for nearly 25 years but I realised my business organisation was poor. Each of the six topics taught me far more than I expected and the best part was it was fun. Jeanette runs a very lively class where apart from the incredible amount of support each person receives from her, the friends I made in class are always willing to share their skills. I have been energised by the understanding I have gained about running a successful business and strongly recommend it to all (friends and patients alike) that they will learn heaps from the course apart from being entertained by our lecturer. I have enrolled for the Money Management course next year already to be sure I get in.

CSBM has been vital for setting up the gym. The knowledge and tools we have been given throughout the course have been extremely helpful and we would not be as capable as we are now without it. Along with all the learning, the networking and friendships with other students have been just as valuable. Strength Nation would not be as successful today without CSBM.

For me the CSBM course was a big commitment in an already busy life, but absolutely worth it. The course was well organised and professionally delivered by Jeanette.

I was at a time in my life when I needed to make some sound personal financial decisions. Whilst searching the internet I found the CMM course and spoke further to Jeanette about it’s content. I had little time to commit to study but attending night class (as I work fulltime) was appealing and it was only for a short period. I signed up and it’s been the best decision I made. Now I’m focused on my financial future, have goals to get me to where I want to be and knowledge to support my negotiation with banks and insurance companies. I had spent a good long while contemplating doing the Certificate in Money Management course but finally took the plunge this year and how I wish I had studied it years ago!! The CMM course has been nothing but absolutely brilliant. It’s interesting, informative, challenging and without doubt the best thing I’ve ever done for myself and my family. Jeanette is a great tutor – warm, encompassing, funny and very knowledgeable. Everyone should do this course – it’s life changing.

Having been a student of Jeanette’s on the Certificate of Small Business Management course, I can highly recommend it to those either thinking about starting up or those already in business. The course covers a wide range of relevant topics, resources are comprehensive and user-friendly, and no-one gets left behind. Having the choice of classes to attend provides the flexibility that busy people need also. But the real gem is Jeanette’s knowledge and teaching style – not only does she have the knowledge of the subject, but she has years of practical experience which she freely shares with us, and is one of the most engaging tutors I have come across.
